26/01 - DIA DA GRADUAÇÃO, ANIVERSÁRIO DA KAROLINA, FESTA 70'S

Este foi um dia especial. Começou à meia-noite (como os restantes dias, não é por aí que foi especial) no apartamento da Karolina onde alguns de nós lhe fomos dar os parabéns. Fomos para o P3 no carrinho do Friedl (porque está muito frio) para a festa Reggae & Funk. No dia seguinte acordámos cedinho pois às 10h30 começava a cerimónia de graduação, onde todos os alunos de ERASMUS foram chamados para receber o diploma, como nos filmes! Esta chamada foi feita por país e universidade e eu e a Rute fomos ao "palco" receber o nosso certificado/diploma e representar o país (a Marisa já tinha regressado a Portugal).



Foi também especial porque recebi uma chamada em que me ofereceram um estágio muito interessante aqui na Dinamarca. Tirámos as fotos da praxe com os nossos amigos e diplomas (só faltou a fatiota) e comemos e bebemos.

O resto do dia foi dedicado ao aniversário da Karolina. 22 aninhos! Parabéns Karolinka! Houve jantar no Common Room com muita comidinha e vinhinho do bom e no seguimento de tal convívio fomos para o P3 onde houve festa anos 70! Foi giro, mas depois adormeci no sofá porque lá está, foi um dia especial e no fim destes dias as pessoas estão cansadas :)




26/01 - GRADUATION DAY, KAROLINA'S BIRTHDAY, 70'S PARTY

This was a very special day. It started at midnight (like everyday, that's not the reason why it was special) at Karolina's flat where some of us went to congratulate her for the birthday. We went to P3 in Friedl's car (because it's a bit freezing out there) to the Reggae & Funk party. The next day we woke up early because at 10h30 we were having the Graduation Ceremony, where all the ERASMUS students were called to the stage to get their diploma, just like in the movies! These calls were made by country and university and me and Rute went together to the stage to receive that magic envelope and represent our country (Marisa had already returned to Portugal).



It was also special because I received a call from a person who had interviewed me the day before offering me a very interesting internship in Denmark. We took the usual photos with our friends and our diplomas (just the uniform was missing) and we drunk and ate.

The rest of the day (all the day, basically) was dedicated to Karolina's birthday. 22 years old! Congratulations Karolinka! There was a dinner at the Common Room with lots of good food and tasty wine and after that friendly reunion and celebration we went to the P3 (oh yes, again!) where there was a 70's party. It was quite (this word is copyrighted by Armin, just like the "fetch" word :P) nice but then I fell asleep at the sofa because it was a very special day, and people get tired on special days :)

VIAGEM A RIBE/ESBJERG

Na quarta-feira passada eu, a Karolina, o Friedl e o Armin metemo-nos no carro do Friedl e fomos até à cidade mais antiga da Dinamarca, Ribe, e à mais nova, Esbjerg. Estas cidades ficam no sudoeste do país, perto da Alemanha. Estava um dia com, digamos, bastante frio e neve por tudo o que é lado, mais que em Horsens :) Estava também bastante sol, o que deu para fazer algumas fotos deveras engraçadas.






TRIP TO RIBE/ESBJERG

Last wednesday, me, Karolina, Friedl and Armin went by car to the oldest town in Denmark, Ribe, and to the most recent one, Esbjerg. They are located in the southwest of the country, close to Germany. We could say it was a pretty freezing day, with snow all over, more than in Horsens :) It was also sunny, which allowed us to make some very nice pics.

HORSENS: BAVARIAN DINNER

De volta a "casa", onde fomos carinhosamente recebidos pelos nossos amigos Armin, David e Camille! O primeiro grande evento de 2007 deu-se após a chegada do Friedl, que trouxe consigo as belas salsichas brancas, directamente da Baviera, para mais um óptimo jantar com a gente do costume. Eu, Karolina, Friedl, Armin, David, Camille, Meri, Luca, Liuke, Matthieu e Julie foram os intervenientes. Salsichas brancas, com a maionese especial doce e típica, acompanhados com pão salgado em forma de argola. Para beber: Franziskaner Weissbier e vinho do Porto (obrigado Zé!). Tudo na benesse como de costume!

HORSENS: BAVARIAN DINNER

Back "home", where we were gently welcomed by our friends Armin, David and Camille! The first big event of 2007 took place after Friedl's arrival, who brought with him the lovely white sausages straight from Bavaria, for another delicious dinner with the usual guys. Me, Karolina, Friedl, Armin, David, Camille, Meri, Luca, Liuke, Matthieu and Julie were the ones who made the party. White sausages, with the typical and sweet mayonnaise, served with salted bread with circular shape. To drink: Franziskaner Weissbier and Port Wine. Everything awesome as usual!

DESTINO: POLÓNIA

Ao contrário dos últimos anos, a Boguens Krew não se reuniu em massa para celebrar o fim de ano. Compromissos de diversos tipos, trabalho, pessoal que vai para outros países, etc. No dia 29 aquele que vos escreve fez malas (outra vez) para se meter numa nova viagem. Desde as 8h no Porto (naquele que foi considerado o melhor aeroporto da Europa, ah poizé... sempre em grande o nome Porto), passando a tarde em Frankfurt ("Ich mochte ein Capuccino, bitte"), apanhando novo avião para Gdańsk, onde me esperavam a Karolina, Paulina (mana) e pai (a mestava em casa a preparar algo deveras bom). Família do mais simpático possível e uma refeição de boas vindas completamente do outro mundo: Bem vindo à Polónia!

Gdansk é uma cidade bastante interessante, com uma rua principal deveras gira. A Tricity (tão futurístico!) é composta por Gdańsk, Gdynia e Sopot e foi por lá que andámos, com visita guiada do historiador Sr. Krzysztof Lasota (pai). Jantámos no Rooster (estilo Hooters nos EUA onde as empregadas envergam roupa, pouca, bastante interessante) e porque não ir ao cinema já que os filmes são exibidos na língua original com legendas em polaco? Tiro em cheio: "Apocalypto", um filme falado em língua nativa, nada de inglês e legendas em polaco! Resultado: nasceu uma nova estrela da tradução simultânea: Karolina Lasota! Palminhas!

No dia de fim-de-ano (Sylvester) apanhámos o comboio para Cracóvia, 10 horitas mas com caminhas para nanar. À nossa espera estava a Marta, nossa amiga de ERASMUS e residente local. Fizemos uma visita pela cidade, que tem um dragão como símbolo e durante a noite fomos a uma mini festa privada onde bebemos diversos tipos de vodka polaca. A meia-noite foi passada no centro da cidade juntamente com uns largos milhares de pessoas. Correu tudo tão rápido! :P

Dia 1 ao fim da tarde de volta a Gdansk e um dia depois nova viagem para Horsens. Uma excitante viagem até à estação de autocarros devido a uma fila de trânsito inesperada e regresso a "casa" em 2 autocarros, 17h. Foram 5/6 dias muitíssimo bem passados e nova visita está prometida!


DESTINATION: POLAND

As opposed to the last few years, the Boguens Krew didn't unite to celebrate the New Year's. Different kinds of compromises, working, people that go to other countries, etc. On the 29th, the one who writes you packed (again) to get himself into a new trip. Since 8h at Porto (in the airport that was considered the best in Europe :)), spending the afternoon in Frankfurt ("Ich mochte ein Capuccino, bitte"), boarding a new flight to Gdańsk, where Karolina, Paulina (sis) and dad (mum was at home making something quite awesome!). Very nice and cute family and a welcome meal from the outerspace: Welcome to Poland! Zajebiście!

Gdansk is a very nice city, with a main street quite cute. The Tricity (doesn't it sound futuristic?) is composed by Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot and that's where we spent most of the time, with a guided tour by Mr. Krzysztof Lasota (dad). We had dinner at Rooster (Hooters style with waitresses (not) wearing interesting outfits) and why not go to the cinema since movies are shown in the original language with Polish subtitles? Perfect shot: "Apocalypto", a movie spoken in a native language, quite different from English and subtitles in Polish! The outcome: a new star of simultaneous translation has born: Miss Karolina Lasota! Zajebiście!

On the New Year's Eve we took the train to Krakow, 10 hours but with beds to sleep. Marta, our friend from ERASMUS and a Krakow local, was waiting for us. We went on a brief city tour and during the night we joined a mini private party where we drunk different kinds of Polish vodka. The midnight was spent on the city centre along with some thousands of people. Everything went so fast! :P

On the 1st of 2007 by the evening we went back to Gdansk and a day after to Horsens. A thrilled journey to the bus station due to an unexpected traffic jam and a 17h journey back "home" in 2 buses. 5/6 very well spent days and a new promised visit to come soon!
