1 year, a lifetime

Mais uma excelente tarde de primavera: os índices de UV estão elevados, as notícias agora até alertam para tal facto, e três italianos foram para o porto e ficaram com 1 "look" tipo camarão com óculos de sol pintados de branco deveras engraçado.

Hoje houve mais um barbecue no relvado das traseiras da escola, desta vez mais pequeno que o anterior, não estiveram presentes 50 ou mais pessoas, mas foi engraçado porque o pessoal esteve a jogar vólei de praia e a sujar os pés na areia manhosa. Meninas, meninos, muitos, poucos, uns dali, outros dacolá, uns com mais jeito, outros com menos, outros que pensam que sabem o que estão a fazer mas talvez sejam uns kromitos (tipo quem vos escreve) a celebrar essa festa que é passar a bola por cima de uma rede de um lado para o outro.

Houve também limpeza do bunker, local que já serviu para estudantes viverem, nas traseiras da escola, junto ao campo de vólei, bar da escola, P3 e relvado para barbecues e futeboladas. Esta casa irá servir de local para meninos e meninas fazerem barulho com as suas vozes, guitarras, baixos e baterias. Será que haverão uns concertos em breve? A ver... Para a semana espera-se que sejam transportados os instrumentos para este abrigo, uma vez que a escola já os tem.

Serve também este post para informar os interessados que, depois da Chiara (1º semestre) ter estado cá, os nossos grandes amigos alemães Friedl e Armin vêm visitar as gentes do país onde se diz "for helvede!". Vai ser bonito! Estão também abertas as inscrições para os interessados em ir visitar o Friedl em Maio a Dublin (viagem muito barata pela Ryanair!).


Another excellent Spring afternoon: the UV levels are high, the news even alert for that, and three italians went to the harbour and got a new stylish "shrimp look" with white sun glasses marked.

Today there was another barbecue in the green field at the back of the school, this time smaller than the previous one, there weren't 50 persons or more, but it was nice as well because there was beach volleyball and people got their feet dirty. Girls, boys, many, few, ones from there, others from another place, ones more talented, others less, others that think they know what they are doing but maybe they don't (perhaps like the one who writes to you) celebrating the party which is passing a ball over a net from one side to the other.

The bunker was also cleaned, a place that used to be a students house, behind the school, next to the volleyball place, school bar, P3 and the green field for barbecues and football matches. This house will serve as a place for boys and girls to make noise with their voices, guitars, bass guitars and drums. Maybe there will be a few concerts soon? We'll see... Next week we hope that the instruments can be placed there, since the school already has them.

This post is also to inform the interested ones that after Chiara (1st semester) has been here, our great (GEIL!) friends from Germany, Friedl and Armin, will visit the country where people say "for helvede!". It will be pretty! Everyone who wants to visit Friedl in May in Dublin can signup for the trip (very cheap flights by Ryanair!).
